The entire room disappeared from my view when my fashion radar spotted an outfit that conjured up images of tropical beaches, palm trees, and tiki huts.
Living close to the beach, I don’t see fashion around town as much as I see everyday tank tops, tees, shorts, and flip flops. Occasionally, though, a bright spot appears in the form of someone wearing the latest trends or expressing a creative style that I could envision on the runway or in a fashion magazine.

The mix of urban, sporty, and feminine styles brought a youthful, yet sophisticated, appeal to the collection. For the color scheme, husband-and-wife team Michael and Nicole Colovos focused on black and white with a dramatic burst of bright yellow.
