Ballet Flats and Online Shopping

Ballet flats with blue flowers and bows!

Hailey Jeans Co Floral Ballet Flats

These shoes matched the image I had of romantic style ballet flats, but there was one (small) catch.  I had to order them online.  The only experience I had with ordering shoes was a couple of years ago when the size I ordered turned out to be too small, and I had to return the shoes for the next size up.  I didn’t want to repeat that experience.

At least, I thought, I could take advantage of the “spend $50, get free shipping” deal, and I could return the shoes to the store if they didn’t fit.  However, if they didn’t fit, I didn’t want to spend another $50 for free shipping just to get the right size.  (Obviously, I am not a fan of shipping costs.)  I spent about a week looking at reviews of the brand’s shoe sizes, comparing the sizes of all my other shoes, and searching for just the right items to bring my total over $50.

I impatiently waited another week until the day I came home to a small package outside my front door.  I rushed to open the box and tried on the shoes.  To my extreme delight, they fit perfectly!

These flats are selling quickly, so search for Hailey Jeans Co Womens Bow Accent Floral Ballet Flats if you want a pair!  If they’re still in stock, you can find them here: Spend $50, Get Free Shipping on Select Shoes at Target.com.  My shoe size is usually 7.5-8, and I ordered a 7.5.

Check out the other shoes by Hailey Jeans Co, too.  They’re pretty amazing!

What experiences have you had when buying shoes online?
